One of my favorite books is a book by Katie Couric called The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons from Extraordinary Lives.

It was a gift from an ex-boyfriend and admittedly is one of the best presents I ever got. Because it’s filled with real-life advice from people who’ve lived (or are living) extraordinary lives.

People like Steven Spielberg, Maya Angelou, Melinda Gates, Barbara Walters, and so many more…

One of my favorite chapters is titled “Don’t Be Afraid of Being Afraid” (page 27) by Maria Shriver, Award-Winning Journalist, Best-Selling Author, and Former First Lady of California.

This is a chapter I completely agree with.

She goes on to say, “Don’t sell yourself short by being afraid of failure that you don’t dare to make mistakes.”

Writing a book is an incredibly easy way to impact many and it’s sooo easy to do.
